Trapeza Aigion, Gouves (land of A. Phrantzi). A. Vordos (Στ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery on a natural terrace (by the Meiganitis river) of a 23.1m long stretch of east-west wall which probably belonged to a large building in the Classical-Hellenistic lower town (a settlement previously excavated on a nearby plot). The wall was built of a mixture of worked blocks and lightly worked fieldstones, and preserved to a maximum height of 1.25m. At the west end it formed a corner (continuing south below the modern road), outside which, at the level of the lowest foundation course, was a hoard of 12 bronze coins of Kassander and Antigonos.
