Report
Goumaiika, Akrata (land of N. Chrysanthakopoulou). L. Papakosta (Στ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of three poorly preserved walls of a building, two stretches of a retaining wall, and two further walls. The very little pottery recovered does not permit a secure date to be assigned. However, the remains lie at the heart of the ancient city, and the wall construction (on foundations of worked stone blocks) suggest that these are parts of public buildings.
