Report
Kalligoni, anc. Leukas (property of M. Phourou). M. Stavropoulou-Gatsi and V. Staïkou (ΛΣτ’ ΕΠΚΑ) report the discovery of part of a house during excavation for a storeroom within the archaeological site of Leukas. A courtyard contained a built well (internal diameter 0.7m) and a probable cistern (which increased in diameter from top to bottom), as well as a built water channel (3.45m long). One room contained a large concentration of conical and pyramidal loomweights suggesting textile production. Two pieces of andesite millstones also indicate agricultural production.
