STRATOS - Lepenoi - 2005

Lepenoi, anc. Stratos. M. Stavropoulou-Gatsi (Director emerita, ΛΣτ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the presentation to Agrinion Museum by D. Papaefthymiou of objects from the west cemetery of the city discovered on his land. These comprise: 18 pots (mostly black-glaze but with one red-figure squat lekythos) and a lamp, plus 17 sherds, a bronze vessel, and metal personal items (a bronze strigil, tweezers, parts of three mirrors, three sheets, a chain, a ring and a ring bezel; a silver ring with a bronze bezel; an iron ring and a rod; a lead object and a mass of lead).
