Report
Kato Achaia, 28th October and Ath. Diakou Streets (Aphentouli property). A. Vasilogamvrou (Στ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of fragmentary stone walls of two Hellenistic buildings. The northwest corner of Building 1 was preserved: traces of white plaster were found just inside the north wall, plus a section of tile and cement flooring (spicatum) which is not securely associated with the building. Building 2, further west was similarly built from roughly worked sandstone blocks and founded at the same depth. A destruction deposit was found both inside the building and outside it to the south.
