Dans la commune d’Atalanti, S. Dimaki (XIVe éphorie des antiquités préhistoriques et classiques) a effectué en 2002 une fouille de sauvetage sur le terrain D. Nikolaou, rue Stratigou Doubiotti, et mis au jour deux tombes à tuile et un segment de mur en assises de poros sur une longueur de 1,60 m.
