Kontra (Leuka), Zervochori. G. Riginos (Η’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of a building with two rooms ca 1km north-east of the local road from Prodromi to Zervochori. The southern room (I) has at the northwest a stone structure, perhaps an osteotheke. The northern room (II) had a beaten earth and pebble floor. Both rooms were covered by a destruction deposit of tile, pottery and a few metal items. The full extent of the structure was not exposed, although it evidently continues to the north and west. A stone mound to the south contained a tile grave with the bones of one individual (probably a child) but no grave goods. Next to this grave were the reburied remains of at least two individuals with a terracotta lamp. Finds overall included 12 bronze coins, four small bronze items, iron nails and masses of iron, loomweights, lamps, and plain fine pottery, plus a few fragments of glass vessels.
