GEROPLATANOS, Doliani - 2001

Geroplatanos, Doliani. G. Riginos (Η’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of a Hellenistic cist tomb built of limestone slabs at a site a few tens of metres from the tombs excavated in 2000. The tomb contained bones heaped into a mound (leaving doubt about the number of burials), two terracotta lamps, two lachrymateria, a plain fine vessel, an iron ring, a piece of iron sheet and an unidentified petal-shaped iron object.
