Report
Nea Seleukeia (property of the Organisation for Workers’ Housing). G. Riginos (Η’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of two tile graves without goods (and of a size consistent with child burials), plus (to the north-northwest of them) sections of wall foundation (of unworked stone, tile and cement) and part of a paved floor. No building plan can be discerned in the walling. Finds include plain, coarse sherds and a very few glazed sherds with floral decoration, glass vessels, two iron daggers, three bronze fibulae, iron and bronze nails, fragments of a bronze vessel and two Turkish pipe bowls.
