Arta (anc. Ambracia), 1 Kosma Aitolou Street (Vassi-Papavangeli property). P. Gouni (ΙΒ' ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of settlement remains severely disturbed by post-Byzantine incursions (Fig. 1: 284). Pottery dates from Archaic to Late Hellenistic times. One room with a stone-chip floor was identified, plus sections of three further walls. Other finds include figurines, a glass bead, 15 bronze coins, bronze sheet, bronze and iron nails and an iron dagger.
