Zakros. E. Platon (ASA) reports on the conservation and study of finds from the palace and Minoan settlement (Figs 1-5). Among the finds conserved were a pair of terracotta horns with painted decoration from the palace, two parts of closed vessels with marine style decoration, drinking vessels with light on dark decoration, and one-handled cups with band decoration. Part of a large pithoid amphora with ivy leaf and spiral decoration, an unusual vessel with an internal handle which was probably a scoop, and half of a limestone offering table were also identified. A complete round bronze mirror with housings for a wooden handle was conserved.
