Report
Garitsa (former Desylla factory). The 21st EBA reports the discovery of Early Byzantine buildings (fig. 1), one of which had a mosaic floor with geometric decoration (fig. 2). Coin finds include two gold coins of Justinian II (565-578 BC) (fig. 3). The coins, plus Early Christian pottery, suggest that the buildings probably date to the sixth century AD, although the excavation has not yet been completed.
