Report
Sidari. The H’ ΕΠΚΑ reports on rescue excavation at the Canal d’Amour, which investigated levels of two-three chronological horizons. The lowest level was rich in organic remains, including Cardium sp. shells. The three succeeding levels contained anthropogenic remains (pottery, including impresso ware, stone tools, marine and land-based organic remains) of the Neolithic period. The remains of two houses were discovered, with pottery, stone tools, clay masses, food remains, and traces of fire. The upper level contained Bronze Age remains.
