CORFU - REKINI, Agios Georgios - 2004

Rekini, Ag. Georgios (Protopsalti property). The H’ ΕΠΚΑ reports the excavation of a Late Classical to Early Roman potter’s workshop with four kilns, a building, and two tanks for clay preparation. Beneath an extensive destruction layer, an orthogonal space contained a large quantity of large and small vessels – miniature pithoi (one of which was black-glazed), kalathiskoi, plain and black glazed skypoi etc..
