Mazarakia. The ΛΒ’ ΕΠΚΑ reports on rescue excavation for the construction of the road linking the Egnatia Odos with the national road from Igoumenitsa to Preveza, between the Karteri and Mesovounio junctions. Ca. 200 graves in a Roman cemetery (of the first-second centuries AD) were excavated, noting impressive funerary monuments, one of which preserved in situ an inscribed grave stele. The majority of burials contained numerous ceramic, glass, bone and metal offerings.
