Report
Neochori. The ΛΒ’ ΕΠΚΑ reports the discovery, in rescue excavation for the construction of the Neochori junction of the Egnatia Odos, of an extensive destruction layer containing pottery of the sixth century BC to the Hellenistic period. In the same area was a potter’s kiln and part of a rich Roman cemetery of pit and stone cist graves.
