ATHENS, Piraeus. Six enchytrismoi from a road-side cemetery were revealed by the ΚΣτ' ΕΠΚΑ at 115 Thivon Avenue (property of D. Bakirtzoglou). Finds from the Late Geometric to the Early Archaic included an Orientalising rhyton with a scene depicting an aulos player leading three female figures, a two-handled lamp painted with a sea battle and depictions of wildlife, a tall lekythos with a procession of chariots, a globular aryballos with bands of dogs, small bowls, figurines of enthroned females, horses, and the head of an Archaic figurine.
