Report
8, 25th March Street (property P. Katsaros and SIA O.E.). M. Petritaki (ΚΣτ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of a three-aisled Early Christian basilica of the fifth-sixth centuries AD. Part of the main naos was preserved, oriented northeast-southwest, plus a small part of the sanctuary apse. The whole preserved length is 11m and width 20.1m, and the middle aisle is 8.2m long and 9m wide.
Outside the north aisle were an early sixth-century enchytrismos in an amphora and an empty tile grave.
