Report
Naupaktos, Perithori (property of V. Stavropoulou). F. Saranti (then Στ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of Middle Helladic remains northwest of the village church. Beneath a layer of stones were three disconnected walls, the best preserved of which (with a single course of fieldstones and cobbles) ran northeast to southwest, bounding the south side of the stone layer. Along the south side of this wall was a fine cobbled floor, in which was an infant burial in a sandstone cist. The remains rested on natural riverine deposits with no evidence of earlier activity.
