Report
Avliza. Mornou Street (O.T. 111, property of P. Beka). M. Platonos (Β’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that at the northeast corner of this plot were a number of pyres and enchytrismoi of the Geometric, Archaic, and Classical periods (Figs 1,2). Many fragments of lekythoi were recovered. Enchytrismoi 10 and 11 were accompanied by a bird figurine and 12 pots (five black-figure lekythoi, a black-glazed oinochoe, a pyxis with lid, a kotyle, a black-glazed skyphos, two miniature prochoes and a miniature black-glaze amphoriskos) (Figs 3-5).
