Report
Th. Iliopoulos (Γ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on works related to the digging of public drainage channels:
Poulopoulou Street: between Aktaiou and Apostolou Pavlou, three walls and storage amphorae.
Akamantos Street: betwen Apostolou Pavlou and Pygmalionos, two walls and a terracotta pipe. In front of no. 3, a long wall ca. 3m wide.
Nileos Street: between Amphiktyonos and Irakleidon, in front of no. 7, a floor of rectangular bricks probably from a Roman building.
Phaidras Street: along the length of this small street many Roman sherds were collected. In front of no. 7, two parallel walls probably belong to a cistern.
Junction of Skopa and Petraki Streets: two or three large limestone blocks may belong to the fortification wall which passes through this area (as may parts of a funerary kioniskos and a millstone).
