A l'occasion du percement d'une voie privée, on a découvert, en 1981, un sarcophage en marbre intact (longueur : 2,30 m ; hauteur : 0,68 m ; largeur : 0,83 m) avec couvercle à double pente. Il contenait des ossements humains et un petit vase funéraire du IVe siècle av. J.-C. Vradyni, 28.2.81 ; Akropolis, 18.3.81.
