Ancienne Thyréa. — En 1979 deux nécropoles hellénistiques, dont l'Éphorie de Sparte a fouillé respectivement 13 et 19 tombes, ont livré un abondant matériel céramique. Une troisième nécropole, d'époque romaine, a également été repérée. Arkadikos Typos, 10.5.84.
