Report
Olympia Vikatou and Eleni Papafloratou (Ephorate of Antiquities of Cephalonia and Ithaki) report on the discovery of a chamber tomb curved into the rock in Skiniotiko Vouni site, in Paliki, Cephalonia.
Previous excavations conducted by the ΛΕ’ ΕΠΚΑ revealed 2 looted chamber tombs.
The current excavation revealed a chamber tomb (Grave 3) containing 4 burials with orientation N-S (Fig. 1). Based on the pottery sherds found, the grave has been dated to the Late Bronze Age.
