Las, Kastelli. E. Zavvou (formerly Ε’ ΕΠΚΑ, now Epigraphical Museum) notes a scatter of prehistoric sherds and traces of wall on this seaside hill, and on the neighbouring height (Miniones). A Mycenaean kylix stem was found in the small ravine between the hills. Middle Helladic pottery from the Kastelli site included dark burnished and matt-painted wares, and well as one sherd with red-on-black decoration which may be Minoan (Fig. 1).
