Dans un terrain sis au pied du flanc Nord-Est du tumulus préhistorique (v. BCH 96 [1972] Chron., p. 704) une fouille exploratoire a mis au jour, en 1978, les restes de constructions HM — dont une pièce absidale — ainsi qu'une tombe à ciste de la même période.
