Des 16 fouilles d'urgence menées en 1979 on retiendra celle d'un magasin hellénistique renfermant 12 pithoi, dont plusieurs furent réutilisés par la nécropole romaine qui s'y superposa (1 rue Despotopoulou), et celle d'un vaste complexe thermal du IIe-IVe siècle ap. J.-C, dont on a mis au jour 12 pièces [50-52 rue K. Oikonomou (fig. 43-44)]. ArchDelt 34 (1979) [1987] Chron., p. 147-153.
