Report
Franzeskiana Metochia - Bitaris. Niki Tsatsaki (Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno) reports on the discovery of new archaeological sites in west Rethymno (Fig. 1,2).
Three main areas of occupation can be distinguished here. SW of Bitaris, Roman pottery, bricks and tile were found. To the W, scattered Roman and Byzantine pottery was found. And to the S more Roman and Byzantine pottery was found.
