Prines - Provarma - 2015
Prines
Prines - Provarma. Niki Tsatsaki (Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno) reports on the discovery of new archaeological sites in west Rethymno (Fig. 1,2).
Architectural remains were found here, including two built circular constructions and the remains of a building with stairs. In one of the rooms of the building there was a cistern, and a press that could date to the Venetian period. A short distance from the building is a circular construction.
The building and the constructions probably date between the late Venetian period to the 19th century.
