Prines - Kokkiniana. Niki Tsatsaki (Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno) reports on the discovery of new archaeological sites in west Rethymno (Fig. 1,2).
After finding carved rocks, test trenches were opened for excavation. Parts of a quarry came to light. Ceramics found at this site was Roman / early Byzantine in date.
