En 1980-81 on a fouillé, au lieu-dit Tsardakia, le sous-sol d'un grand bâtiment en poros — ferme ou hôtellerie (?) — qui, comme l'indiquent la céramique et un trésor de monnaies de bronze de l'époque d'Antigone Gonatas, fut détruit au IIIe siècle av. J.-C. Le plafond était soutenu par quatre piliers octogonaux en poros (fig. 1).
