Plaka. A Byzantine or Ottoman brick cistern lined with hydraulic mortar was discovered during drainage work on Daidalou Street. Further east were two parallel northwest-southeast walls, one apparently related to Late Roman buildings previously discovered (ADelt 27 [1972] Chr, 71; ADelt 37 [1982] Chr, 19).
