D'importants travaux d'aménagement ont été réalisés en 1984 sur le site, qui concernaient en particulier la zone entre l'Ischégaon et le théâtre, ainsi que le chemin menant du théâtre au stade. Les travaux de creusement nécessités par l'installation, au Sud-Ouest du stade, d'une citerne destinée à assurer la sécurité du site en cas d'incendie n'ont pas mis au jour le moindre vestige antique.
