Mageiras - Kioupia plot - 2014

Mageiras - Kioupia plot. Georgia Emm. Hatzi (Z’ EPKA) reports on the investigation of thirteen chamber tombs, one cast and four pit burials, first brought to light as the result of illegal excavation and looting. Their lengths range rom 2.30m (grave M) to 13.60m (grave N) and their width from 1.07m (grave N) to 2.39m (grave C).

Among the finds there was pottery, glass pieces, stone beads, gold and bronze jewellery and bronze weaponry. The graves were dated between LH IIIA–IIIC. They were also used in the sub-Mycenaean period.
