La 8e EBA rend compte dans l'ArchDelt 42 (1987) [1992], Β'1, p. 330-332, des sondages effectués dans l'église de Saint-Nicolas, où l'on a identifié trois phases de construction ; le premier état du monument avait été détruit dans un incendie.
