L. Kolonas et G. W. Faisst publient, AA (1992), p. 561-572, un rapport préliminaire concernant l'acropole fouillée depuis 1989 sur la colline de Vigla. Ils proposent d'interpréter la construction circulaire très soignée dégagée au centre de l'acropole comme un autel monumental. Ils mettent cette acropole, construite dès le VIIe s. av. J.-C., en relation avec la ville de Palairos.
