Todef Todor property, Aptera - 2009

Todef Todor property, Aptera. Vana Niniou-Kindeli (ΚΕ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that two graves were detected in protection Zone B of the archaeological site of Aptera, during the excavation works for the erection of a building. The graves were located at the southern part of the W cemetery of Aptera, which in its majority overlaps with the old  and the modern settlement. Both were rock-cut shaft graves , while the covering slabs have been removed during looting. Only a few pottery sherds of the 3rd and 2nd c. B.C. were found.
