À l'Ouest du village, non loin de la tombe macédonienne (v. BCH 102 [1978] Chron., p. 722), on a localisé une nécropole antique qui doit correspondre à l'habitat repéré, il y a quelques années, sur la colline de Paliokostra (v. BCH 115 [1991] Chron., p. 914). Le matériel trouvé dans l'une des tombes date de la fin du IVe s. av. J.-C.
