En 2006, une mission archéologique de l’École italienne sous la direction d’E. Greco, associée à la XXXVIIe éphorie des antiquités préhistoriques et classiques (X. Arapogianni), a réalisé un relevé, par positionnement satellitaire, de toutes les structures visibles du site, complété par une exploration systématique de l’espace urbain – du type « urban survey – pour préparer une analyse stratigraphique.
