La fouille du terrain Kostaki à Mytilène a livré un puits postbyzantin (fig. 1). L’espace à l’Ouest du puits avait été assaini, à cause de remontées des eaux, avec des moellons et des blocs de remploi. Une partie du puits est fondé sur le rempart hellénistique, repéré lors d’une fouille précédente effectuée à proximité, rue Nicomideia.
