En 1994, une fouille d'urgence dans un terrain situé en bordure de la route Argos-Xérovryssi-Chouni a dégagé un nouveau tronçon de l'aqueduc d'Hadrien (v. BCH 122 [1998] Chron., p. 754 s.v. « Akova-Chouni ») qui aboutissait à Képhalari. AD 49 (1994) [1999] Β'1, p. 146 [A. Banaka-Dimaki].
