Le Service archéologique a poursuivi, en 1999, l'exploration des nécropoles de la ville antique aux lieux-dits Katsalos* et Kylindra. Sur ce dernier site on a jusqu'à présent dégagé près de deux cents sépultures de nourrissons dans des hydries, des amphores et des marmites ; elles s'échelonnent entre l'époque archaïque et le IVe s. av. J.-C.
