On a d'autre part poursuivi, au lieu-dit Palioklissi, l'exploration d'un cimetière* aux abords de la basilique paléochrétienne découverte en 1996 ; les tombes contenaient un riche mobilier qui s'échelonne entre les époques paléochrétienne et mésobyzantine.
