Recherches gréco-norvégiennes. — En 1999, une prospection sous-marine utilisant des sonars de haute précision, entreprise par l'Université de Trondheim (M. Jasinski) en collaboration avec l'Institut norvégien d'Athènes (M. Wedde) et l'Éphorie des antiquités sous-marines (K. Dellaporta), a permis de repérer plusieurs épaves d'époques classique et romaine.
