Ionia road, between Ampelia and Episkopiko. Nikos Choinas, Vasiliki Gianniki, Ypatia Faklari and Anastasia Giovanopoulou (IB’ ΕΠΚΑ) report on discoveries made during the construction of the new road. Unpainted and painted ceramics were found, along with bronze coins, iron objects (mainly nails), fragments of second and third century AD vessels, and tiles. Wheelmade pottery dates to the late Hellenistic and Roman periods. There is also pottery from the Early Iron Age through to Early Byzantine times.
