Intersection of Ari Belouchiotis Street and Akadimias Street, Katsikas, Ioannina. Christos Kleitsas and Atalanti Betsiou (IB’ ΕΠΚΑ) report on the discovery of a pit filled with sherds of pottery. A small clay disc of diameter 11.7cm (FIg. 1) was also found. On the supper surface, there was a cavity to attach a handle, and underneath a number of small, shallow cavities in a dense arrangement. This is similar to clay seals found in the Neolithic period.
