Un bâtiment d'époque romaine a été localisé, en 1995, dans la région de Varikoremma, où un fragment de sol en mosaïque avait été précédemment signalé. Sur la colline voisine, on a repéré une couche de destruction et recueilli un Hécataion en terre cuite.
