Report
Pediada, Elia. Maria Mavraki-Balanou (ΚΓ΄ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that excavation works took place in Elia village of Pediada and in the sites Kapetanissas, Mezalikia, Aloni or Volada. Two chamber semi-circular spaces, carved in soft limestone were investigated. They were probably looted ancient graves, due to the fact that they were almost empty and filled with dumped material and rubbish. The only finds were three Hellenistic sherds with floral decorations and traces of white, red and black slip, which were discovered in the trial trench in the NE side of the northern grave.
