Une équipe conduite par Y. Pétrocheilos a poursuivi la prospection et entrepris une fouille limitée à Paliokastro (l'ancienne ville de Cythère), au sommet du mont Haghios Géorghios, où un sanctuaire d'époque géométrique avait été identifié l'année précédente.
