Derveni, Loutro (ΕΡΓΟΣΕ excavatıons). P. Kassimi and V. Papathanasiou (ΛΖ’ ΕΠΚΑ) report on further excavations at the Late Roman bath complex. Five additional rooms were identified as well as a mosaic floor. The walls of the rooms were preserved to a height of 1.93 m., with their width ranging between approximately 0.50-0.60 m. (Fig. 1). They were made of rubble dressed with plinths. Hypocausts were also identified as tubuli and tegullae mammatae. The floor was lined with plaster while the mosaic was only partially preserved, made of black and white tessera and dated to the second half of the 2nd century A.D.
